The local fellowship is the place God designed for his children to discover, develop and use their gifts and develop their life, character and leadership skills. All this is to fulfil to build Christ’s Church and not our own ministry.

… the opportunity is endless … the limit is your creativity.

You can be involved in any one of these ministries but to be a leader you need to commit to the channels of God’s grace.

You receive strength to face life’s challenges, choices and crises. You receive direction for daily living and find purpose and fulfilment.

1. You are called, gifted and empowered for ministry.

1 Peter 4:10
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. NIV

2. It is a great privilege to serve, not a sacrifice.

Remember, Jesus fed 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fishes? The 5000 being fed did not see the miracle, but only the disciples saw the miracle. Experience miracles in your own life when you serve!

3. You serve because you are touched by Christ’s love

1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.

When we are consumed by the love of Christ — we will spontaneously love him more and worship him more

The love of Christ is the greatest motivation for service.

4. Rewards here and in Heaven

Colossians 3:23-24 Unto the Lord

And whatever you do, do it heartily, AS TO THE LORD and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. NKJV
